Burma Star

Awarded for service in the Burma campaign, 11 December 1941 to 2 September 1945. The centre of the ribbon is red (Commonwealth forces) with outer stripes of dark blue (British forces), each with a central stripe of bright orange (the sun). A ‘Pacific’ clasp could be awarded with this medal. Personnel qualifying for both the Pacific and Burma Stars were awarded the first star but only a clasp in respect of the second. Note: the full-size medal is struck in a gold-tone finish; the miniature is bronze-tone, matching original wartime issue conventions. Images are a representation only – actual medals may vary slightly in colour, material finish or design due to manufacturing. Turnaround: approximately 7-14 days.
